About This Tour

A full-day trip to Bursa from Istanbul is a fantastic way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore a rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and traditional markets.

The journey begins early in the morning with a ferry ride from Istanbul to Bursa. As you cross the Marmara Sea, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the serene views of the sea.

Upon arrival in Bursa, your first stop will be the historic Inkaya Tree, which is over 610 years old. The Inkaya Tree (İnkaya Çınarı) is a famous and historic platanus (sycamore) tree located near the town of Bursa, Turkey. Renowned for its age and size, the Inkaya Tree has become an important cultural symbol and is considered a natural monument.

Next, you will ascend Uludağ Mountain via a bus ride, enjoying breathtaking views of Bursa and the surrounding countryside. Once at the mountain, you will have the option to return by cable car. Be sure to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant while you’re there.

Next on the itinerary is the Green Mosque (Yeşil Camii), one of the most iconic landmarks in Bursa. Located in the historic city center, it is renowned for its stunning architecture and rich history.

Next, we will visit Ottoman houses that offer a glimpse into the architectural and cultural legacy of the Ottoman Empire. Bursa was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, and many of its historical structures, including its traditional houses, reflect the architectural style and lifestyle of that period.

A trip to Bursa would not be complete without a visit to the famous Silk Bazaar (Koza Han). Here, you can immerse yourself in the traditional Turkish market atmosphere and shop for silk products, spices, and other local goods. The Silk Bazaar is celebrated for its rich history, stunning architecture, and its role in the city’s long-standing silk trade.

You will also visit the Green Mausoleum (Yeşil Türbe), a significant historical and architectural monument located near the Green Mosque. Together, they form the Yeşil Complex (Yeşil Külliye), which is one of the most important Ottoman-era religious and architectural sites in the city.

Finally, you will visit Historical Bath house and after that we will meet you to pick you up for return back to Istanbul
