5 Days Istanbul, Cappadocia Tour

Day 1 - Arrival in Istanbul

Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the vibrant city of Istanbul. You can visit the famous Taksim Square or the bustling Istiklal Street, known for its diverse selection of shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Day 2 - Istanbul Highlights

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour to discover Istanbul's main attractions. Start with the Hagia Sophia, a magnificent Byzantine Church turned mosque turned museum. Then, head to the Blue Mosque, renowned for its stunning blue Iznik tiles. Visit the Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans, which now houses a priceless collection of artifacts. Wrap up the day at the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets, where you can shop for souvenirs, trinkets, spices, and more.

Day 3 - Travel to Cappadocia

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, embark on a tour to explore the unique rock formations and fairy chimneys of Devrent Valley. Visit Pasabag, also known as Monks Valley, famous for its mushroom-shaped rock formations. Explore the ancient city of Avanos, known for its pottery and ceramics. Enjoy a pottery demonstration and perhaps try your hand at creating your own piece.

Day 4 - Cappadocia Highlights

Start the day with a visit to the Goreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can admire the ancient rock-cut churches and frescoes. Next, head to Uchisar Castle, the highest point in the region, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Explore the Kaymakli Underground City, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia's many such settlements. If weather permits, you may opt for a hot air balloon ride at dawn, providing a breathtaking panoramic view of the fairy-tale landscape.

Day 5 - Return to Istanbul

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. You may choose to visit Dolmabahce Palace, Ortakoy, or simply stroll along the Bosphorus before your departure.
