3 Days Cappadocia and Ephesus Tour
Day 1: Cappadocia Upon arrival, explore the unique landscape of Cappadocia, famous for its fairy chimneys, rock formations, and ancient cave churches. Start with a visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can see well-preserved frescoes in the rock-cut churches. Then, head to the Paşabağ Valley to see the extraordinary mushroom-shaped rock formations and the ancient cave dwellings.
Day 2: Cappadocia Spend another day in Cappadocia exploring areas like the Derinkuyu Underground City, the deepest of the underground cities in Cappadocia. Next, take a walk in the Ihlara Valley along the Melendiz River and enjoy the natural beauty. Before ending the day, visit the Selime Monastery, a large rock-cut monastery with a breathtaking view.
Day 3: Ephesus On the third day, take a flight to Izmir and then a drive to Ephesus. Explore the ancient city of Ephesus, which includes the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the Library of Celsus, a monumental tomb for Gaius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, completed in 135 AD.
After a day of exploration, return to Izmir for a flight back to Istanbul.
